ARNIE & the bus
So, the girl is almost 15 years old and she doesn't want to learn how to ride the city bus.. Even though I have been bringing her to school and either me or CHOWDER HEAD have picked her up for the last 6 years!!! Do you know how much frickin gas I could have saved in that time? It's not like I'm going to stop dropping her off...She'll just have to get home via the bus. How hard can it be?

Just make her walk. I guarantee she will start taking the bus then.
Have you met LITTLE SOGS…..She is just like all the other hoodlums. She will constantly bum a ride with a promise to pay later. By the time she is 18 she won’t be able to move out of the house because she will be debt from the IOU’s. Then it will become a vicious circle of robbing peter to pay Paul. Until finally she can’t take it anymore and she goes postal. And I am certain that one of us will be the first on her hit list.
Tell you what SOG. Why don't you get that old PIECE OF SHIT truck running and give it to her for her 16th B-Day?? Then she can worry about getting her own gas and getting her own self to school..
BTW, I was talking on the phone yesterday about how she was "afraid to get out of her little co-dependant bubble" she's been living in and she over heard..
This morning she was talking to me about getting a bus pass and starting to ride it..She was also talking about how gasoline has gone up 13cents since last week.. Hmmm... Either the whole guilt thing really does work or she feels sorry for me spending all my money on gas by running her MINI ME ass around.
